Danni’s Inappropriate comment

X-Factor’s first live show of the season was full of great performers, cool song choices, beautiful people and yes..controversy! It looks like this judges can’t stick to just commenting on the contestants artistry, they have to also comment on their sexuality. It’s not unknown that there are rumors floating around that singer Danyl Johnson is bisexual, the guy even admited that has been in relationships with men, but what does have to do with singing? In my opinion, nothing.

In tonight’s episode Danyl sang Jennifer Hudson’s Dream Girls main hit And I Am Telling You and obviously changed the “best man” for “best girl”, which is a very expected thing to do. Dannii Minogue got tempted and had to gives us her input on his decision, “turning a girls song into a guys song, but if we are to believe everything we read in the paper maybe you didn’t need to change the gender reference in it”, she said. A shocked but smiley Danyl stood there and made a quick response “I’m not ashamed”.

It’s kinda upsetting that his amazing performance gets ruined with a comment that could have been avoided. Just like Simon Cowell told Dannii “you can forget about playing those games with him”. It was a pretty low and shady thing to do. He is there to sing, not discuss his private life, and who cares if he is bisexual anyways, it’s his life.
